Using Quantum Gate technology, the three factions can create ‘Quantum Tunnels’ to nearly any location in the galaxy, granting them near instantaneous travel to even the most distant plants. Massive Armoured Command Units can construct and unleash entire ar… More >>

This by far is one of the best strategy games i have ever played especially on the xbox 360.The game itself is so much better than the command and conquer games and im a big fan of those games. You have wide range of units to choose and build from tanks and titan robots to aircraft and naval units.Although the game itself is tricky at first to master but once you get the hang of it its a piece of cake. The only down side to the game is that it freezes most of time after you save it, especially if youve been playing the game for hours straight and that can be annoying especially when you got to to go back into the xbox main screen and reload the game again, but if you can learn to ignore that then you can still enjoy the game. The graphics on this game are also out of this world its like fighting real battles and the attention to detail is like WOW from tanks leaving track marks to naval ships exploding then capsiding and sinking. The multiplayer side of the game is also brilliant both on skirmish and online. My advice is when youve completed the tutorial side of the game play around in the skirmish maps as you learn so much more about how to play the game, i myself have learned so much just playing skirmish. My advice for anyone whos thinking of buying this game is BUY IT!!! you wont be disapointed

Have played this on the 360 for a while now.
It is a good game. The campaign is long (depending how long you take to complete it) and the multiplayer is good.
The only thing that got me down was the controls for the game. Very bad. But the makers of the game said that it wasn’t built from the start for the 360, they were asked to make a 360 version in a small amount of time, so they couldn’t make it excellent.
I enjoy it for the PC, but it is also fun on the 360 aswell.

The controls are necessarily more complex because they have A LOT more actions to cover, the degree of control over the battlefield is pretty much total. Units can be ordered to perform specific tasks in order, every one of a single type of unit can be selected across the map, and you can zoom from right up close to the action to all the way back to a birds-eye aerial view of the entire map. The units themselves range from tiny scouts to huge mobile factories, and heavy artillery installations and nukes can be built. There are about seven different kinds of AI, from easy to hard and horde or tech modes. It also has a completely unique economy system which allows for your base to become totally self-sufficient, generating its own resources, which makes for more varied gameplay than in a game which centers around controlling set resource areas (although these are still available in Supreme Commander). The only downside is that in games of 2000+ units the game can begin to lag, but the simple answer is don’t let your opponents get that many units. Hope this helps.

After playing the original on the PC and my PC at that time lagging out (due to rubbish specs) on how hungry SC is I decided to buy this on release date. A couple of things hit me when I first played it. First it has awful controls, however like all controls you manage to get around them by learning, but in the era of technology nobody likes anything being slow, unresponsive or heard to learn, as I already knew it was a great game and had a fantastic insight into it (apart from the 3 new units that weren’t in SC1). The second thing was the graphics degenerated when the pop cap started to get higher (smart Graphics(which I don’t like)). It also some more bad points. Nobody plays online (probably due to bad marketting), the pop cap is reduced to 500 on SP, +10 speed is equal to 0 speed on PC and it crashes a fair ammount. Aswell as other limitations due to the Xbox having no guts compared to the PC.
However, it is still a good game long Campaign enjoyable, skirmishes will entertain you for days on end and the aforementioned 3 new units, like the PC version it still retains many features so it’s still very enjoyable despite a few drawbacks.
As I now have a gaming PC from PCspecialist(PLUG!!!) which I got several months later after its release date, I haven’t played the Xbox version since due to the Xbox version simply not being as good as the PC version of SC1 or SC:FA. Also, the Xbox died around Feb 2009.

Rubbish – the controls are just rubbish and really unadaptive. If you’re looking for a strategy game I would recommend the Command and Conquer series.
